Valjean sneezed for the fifth time and Javert had to roll his eyes, because obviously, the man didn’t know what a coat was and thought it was a mighty fine idea to go out to the sushi bar without a coat.

He also slept naked, but that was an entirely different story...

So now, since the stubborn superintendent refused to wear a coat when out (And it was COLD), he had caught a horrible cold, that was stopping him from doing his work, so being the good man he obviously was not, Javert had practically dragged the man, kicking and screaming, back to his bed, his argument was that Valjean was in no shape to be working with that nasty cold, he’d get snot all over the papers and sneeze on people and that wasn’t a nice thing, so he’d stay in his bed and choke on chicken soup until he was all better.

Javert smiled in satisfaction when the other man did as he was told, he could take care of paperwork later, right at that moment, what he needed to do was concentrate in getting better from that cold.

He sneezed again, and looked particularly miserable when he did so, Javert almost felt sorry for the man (Almost), and was about to force feed him some soup, but then Valjean said he wasn’t hungry and that instead he was feeling quite dizzy, so he’d rather sleep a little more.

There would have been absolutely no problem with that, had it not been for the strange request that came out of the other man seven seconds later.
“Javert?”
“Yes?”
“Sing ‘Warm kitty’ for me...”

Javert stared for what seemed like an eternity (It was actually just a few minutes), and then stood from his chair and started walking out of the room.
“No.”
“But...”
“No.”
“Oh come on!”
“No.”
“Please! Pleasepleaseplease!”
“No.”
“I am a sick person, sick persons deserve to have warm kitty sung to them.”
“Still not convincing. No.”
“Pretty please with a cherry on top?”
“No.”
“Oh please! Come on!” Valjean was about to continue whining, when a sudden fit of sneezes attacked him. This time, Javert DID manage to feel sorry for the other man; he sighed and rolled his eyes.
“Fine, but just this time and never again.” He said, sitting on the bed, and pushing the other man slightly so he could get more space next to him.

Valjean curled into a ball under his covers and snuggled close to Javert, making weird purring noises. Javer cleared his throat and started to sing the offending ‘Warm Kitty’ song.

Javert was grateful that they were VERY far away from his flat mates or else he would never hear the end of this.
